After a year-long study of its partnership programs at Alberta colleges, Athabasca University has decided to align its college course delivery practices with the university’s regular online delivery model. These changes will be phased in over the coming year. Effective April 30, 2017, we will be discontinuing on-site classroom courses on college campuses.
AU’s number one priority is to ensure our students are supported during this transition.
What does this change mean for you?
Over the coming year (Fall 2016 semester and Winter 2017 semester), you can continue to take AU courses as classroom courses at your college campus. To see a listing and to register for courses, please click the button below:
AU students wishing to take Grouped Study courses at Lethbridge College, can fill out a General Application Form (PDF) and an Undergraduate Course Registration Form (PDF) and submit them to the contact on the bottom of each form. All Grouped Study courses are also available by Individualized Study. Students who wish to take AU courses through Individualized Study, should visit the online registration service.
Student Advising: Bachelor of Professional Arts students can connect with an academic advisor in AU’s Learner Support Services Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mountain Time

If you have completed a Lethbridge College program approved for block transfer credit, AU will grant you a specified number of credits toward an AU degree, depending on the degree you would like to complete, the program you have completed, and how those courses fit the degree requirements.

Athabasca University confers degrees on graduates during the annual Lethbridge College Convocation ceremony in Lethbridge, and in addition are welcome to participate in Athabasca University's annual Convocation ceremony, held in June in Athabasca.
